Meet Registered Builders Auckland - Haven Residential

While most people don’t know what they want to do in life, I spent my formative years tinkering in my grandfather’s garage, creating and constructing & always knew I wanted to be a builder. Leaving school at 16 I took up a Joinery apprenticeship and spent 8 years honing my craftsmanship in the factory environment. The following 8 years were spent based in London, with a mix of travel and time spent building in the exclusive Kensington & Chelsea suburbs. I grew my skill set of building and managing projects and people with a view to taking this knowledge back to N.Z and doing it for myself. 40+ countries later it was time to go home and start my family. Fast forward 15 years of running a business and the challenges and experiences acquired along the way, I find the most rewarding part of building is being able to enhance our client’s lifestyle by helping them create the home environment they need or desire. In my spare time I help coach my 3 children’s school and local sports teams, and occasionally chase a golf ball around the trees.

Craig is a qualified carpenter and a member of the NZ Certified Builders Association with over 30 years experience in the building industry. This includes 5 years in London’s prestigious W1, working alongside Ray managing sites and teams completing high end renovations. Craig has extensive experience in all types of construction in New Zealand from Architectural new builds and re-clads to character home restoration. His attention to detail and technical knowledge ensure projects are continually built to our high standards. Away from work Craig has a passion for travel and sports. He has travelled to over 37 countries and worked as a professional dive instructor. He also played National League Basketball for North harbour and currently teaches Martial Arts.

Danny is a highly experienced builder with over 35 years experience in the building industry. His wealth of knowledge is diverse and he is well known and respected in the local building industry. Danny is also well known in the sports arena being a passionate softball player and coach.

Garrick is a qualified, registered builder and carpenter with 18 years experience in the building industry across a wide range of projects including architectural new builds, renovations, re-cladding and retirement villages. Garrick also has a passion for sports and gives his time to coaching a young rugby team.

Paul is a qualified carpenter with 9 years experience in the building industry. After starting a career in the Navy and time as a professional sportsman, he now continues his career with the Haven team in the building industry. Paul still stays extremely fit and does work as a personal fitness trainer.
