THE CHALLENGE
PROJECT DETAILS
Once the stream had been enhanced and inhabitants relocated, we had to construct this home on driven piles without damaging the surroundings. Heavy steel beams were manually lifted on site due to limited access in and around the stream. SIP’s construction made the project quicker than conventional builds and provided a higher level of insulation for a warm dry home.

Foundations
Driven house piles up to 9m deep and bridged foundations for soft ground, concrete floor and high block retaining walls.
SIP's Structure
SIP's panel construction of the walls and roof structure, including the roof deck.
Custom Bathrooms
Bathrooms were custom built wet rooms with floor to ceiling tiles and custom glass shower screens.
Exterior Cladding
Vertical shiplap and horizontal cedar weatherboard cladding used for effect with natural finish stain
