Eastcliffe Road - New Build House
THE CHALLENGE
PROJECT DETAILS
Our challenge was to build a multi-level architectural house on a steep, narrow section. Major foundation work and steel beam structure had to be undertaken to create a unique mid floor platform with three cars garaging and parking area under the house. Split level design maximised the contours of the site and provided a separate space for a self-contained unit and a workshop.
Open plan living and deck areas designed within a bush setting in mind has achieved a hidden “wow” factor with a relaxing forest feel complemented by ocean views.

OUR SERVICE & SOLUTION
Excavation and Retaining
Extensive excavations to cut levels into the site were required. The combination of timber and block retaining walls were constructed to form foundations and basement levels.
Architectural New Build
Architectural design was required to fit a large house on a steep site. This enabled us to efficiently use the space to create an optimal living area with unique design features throughout the house.
Interior Design
Our interior designer worked with the client to develop their personal feel and statement within the home by bringing together in a balanced manner the colours and textures in each of the spaces.
Project Management
Architectural homes require a lot of additional supervision and coordination of the many specialised tradespeople. Our project manager took control of the project from earthworks through health and safety during the construction process to the final cleaning and delivery.
