This old character home was a major renovation requiring propping and excavation underneath to create two additional bedrooms. Limited access and parking in a busy Ponsonby street created some logistical challenges. Full interior refurbishment and a new kitchen opening out to a new deck area.

OUR SERVICE & SOLUTION
Foundations
We excavated the basement and installed a new foundation and concrete floor with concrete block retaining walls.
Structural Changes
We built new walls and structure for the main house and extensions, then added beams and mid floor to support the new upper story.
Bathroom Renovation
Modern bathroom design was added to suit the character of the existing home
Waterproof decks
Waterproof deck area was constructed over lower living areas. Floating decking was used over the membrane to ensure weather tightness.
